The Respite Home provides Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities temporary accommodations in order for their Families or Care Providers to receive an interval of rest or relief. The Staff at the Respite Home are trained Care Providers who assist Individuals with a multitude of needs.
The supports provided include, but are not limited to, assistance with personal care, medication, meals, recreational activities and the usage of equipment such as wheel chairs and oxygen tanks.
The Home is available to Families/Care Providers for up to seventy (70) days per fiscal year and stays at the Respite Home can range from three hours long to three weeks long, depending on the availability of space.
